MEETINGS |
|
The
Genesee Valley WBA holds two membership meetings each year.
|
|
The FALL DINNER
MEETING is held the 3rd Sunday in October and is an open membership
meeting and may also include invited guests. At the Dinner Meeting,
a Memorial Service is held for deceased bowlers and/or family members; a
member is inducted into the GVWBA Hall of Fame; Association winners from
the previous season are awarded trophies, as well as Association
Tournament trophies and the Seniors Tournament.

The SPRING MEETING is held in May of each year and is also an open membership
meeting. This meeting includes the awarding of Tournament prize
money; the election of officers and directors; the election of State and
National delegates; and the awarding of Scholarship awards.

|
The Association
also conducts an annual FALL WORKSHOP held in August of each year together
with the Perry Bowling Association (Men's). The Workshop is open to
all members and is designed as a combined workshop especially for league
secretaries and/or presidents in preparation for the upcoming
season.

|
In addition to
the membership meetings, the GVWBA officers and directors meet several
times each year.
|
